Next.js Development Services
I provide Next.js development services for teams that need a production web product, not a marketplace listing: SaaS with auth and billing, custom CRMs, marketplaces, and marketing sites that actually rank. You hire a senior Next.js developer who has already shipped those products — and a small senior team when the scope needs agency-level capacity.
What these Next.js development services cover
Most pages titled "Next.js development company" sell staff augmentation. This one sells shipped software. Engagements are scoped around a product you can put in front of customers, with the parts that usually get skipped: data models, auth, billing, SEO, and the failure modes that only show up in production.
- [Next.js SaaS](/services/nextjs-saas-development) — App Router products with authentication, Stripe subscriptions, admin tooling, and an architecture that survives the first thousand users.
- Marketing and corporate sites — server-rendered pages that rank, convert, and stay fast. Miller40 and AGS Petroleum are live examples.
- [Custom CRMs](/services/custom-crm-development) — pipelines, roles, and reporting shaped around how your team actually works, not a seat-licensed template.
- [Marketplace development](/services/marketplace-development) — Next.js, Postgres/Supabase, roles, seller onboarding, commissions, and Stripe Connect payouts, as shipped for Dryva.
- AI products on Next.js — VenueX AI and FreeAdCopy are production Next.js apps with real model and billing layers, not chat widgets.
- Backends that fit the product — Supabase and Postgres when the data is relational; Firebase when the document model still pays for itself.
Hire Next.js developers without renting a resume
Search results for "hire Next.js developers" are dominated by talent marketplaces, job boards, and the official docs. Those are useful if you want to staff a role. They are a poor fit if you want someone accountable for a product. You hire me to own the architecture and the delivery — Top Rated on Fiverr, 5.0 across 252+ reviews, 300+ clients — and I bring in a small senior team I already work with when the scope is agency-sized.
If you were looking for a Next.js development agency, that's the honest version of one: senior hands on the keyboard, no account-manager layer, no junior bench billed at senior rates. Client reviews and the case studies below are the filter.
What Next.js is used for
Next.js is a React framework for building web products that need routing, server rendering, and SEO out of the box. In practice that means SaaS dashboards, content and marketing sites, multi-tenant CRMs, marketplaces, and AI tools with a serious web UI. It is not a mobile runtime — more on that below — and it is not a substitute for a database, a billing provider, or a clear domain model.
I use it as the application layer: App Router, TypeScript, server components where they earn their keep, and a structured backend (usually Postgres) so auth, billing, and integrations can change without a rewrite. Stripe subscriptions on the App Router and Stripe webhooks in production are the parts of that stack most tutorials skip.
Why use Next.js
Use Next.js when the product is a website or web app that has to be indexable, fast on first load, and maintainable as a team grows. Server rendering and metadata are first-class, the routing model matches how products are actually structured, and the TypeScript + React ecosystem is where most hiring pools already live.
Don't use it because a tutorial did. A marketing site with five pages can be Next.js; so can a multi-tenant SaaS. The framework choice is cheap. The expensive choice is an MVP with no data model, no webhook-driven billing, and no path to SEO. That's the work this service is for.
Next.js gets you a product-shaped codebase. Production still depends on auth, data, billing, and the failure modes you design for — not the starter template.
Next.js vs React
React is the UI library. Next.js is the framework around it: routing, rendering, data fetching, and the server/client split. If you are embedding a widget in an existing app, React on its own can be enough. If you are shipping a product with URLs, auth, and search visibility, you want Next.js (or an equivalent framework) — not a hand-rolled React SPA that you then have to make crawlable.
"Next.js vs React" is usually a buying question in disguise: do we hire someone who can build a UI, or someone who can ship a web product? The second is this page. The UI is the easy third of the job.
Next.js and React Native
They share TypeScript, React mental models, and often a domain API. They do not share a runtime. Next.js renders web. React Native renders iOS and Android. For teams that need both, I keep one backend and two clients — a Next.js web app plus a React Native app through App Store and Play Store submission. Dryva is that shape: web booking on Next.js, a companion mobile app for the field.
Shipped Next.js work
This is the difference between a listing and a Next.js development company you can actually evaluate. FreeAdCopy is a GPT-4 SaaS I built from zero. Database Vault is a SaaS I founded on Next.js and Supabase. VenueX AI is a production AI sales platform I lead engineering on. Miller40 is a multi-location Next.js site with booking and local SEO. Dryva is a courier marketplace with Stripe Connect. That's the stack, in production, not in a slide deck.
How to hire
Send the product, the current stack if there is one, and what "done" looks like in the next 90 days. I'll tell you whether this should be a Next.js build, a takeover of an existing App Router codebase, or something else — including when React Native, a CRM, or a billing rewrite is the real job. Start a project or email a brief; I typically respond within 24 hours on business days.
