Database Vault is a secure SaaS product for automated cloud database backups — PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Firebase, and Supabase — with encrypted storage, scheduling, monitoring, and one-click restore. I founded and built the product end to end.
The live product at dbvault.io targets teams that need production-ready backups without maintaining fragile cron scripts or provider-locked tooling. Connect a database, set a schedule, and backups run to independent cloud storage with encryption, retention policies, and a dashboard for status and alerts.
I designed and shipped the full stack: Next.js marketing and app surfaces, auth, billing (LemonSqueezy), Supabase-backed data, backup job orchestration, and restore flows for supported engines. The product positioning emphasizes under-five-minute setup, multi-database support in one place, and recovery that does not depend on the same infrastructure as the primary database.
As founder and engineer, this is both a shipped SaaS case study and an owned product — complementary to client work on AI agents, custom CRMs, and marketplace payment platforms.
