Dryva: Courier Booking, Tracking & Payments

Business problem

Dryva needed an online delivery journey connecting package selection, booking, payment, tracking and proof of delivery for customers in Jamaica.

My role and architecture

My full-stack responsibilities cover tiered booking, online payments, tracking and proof-of-delivery email workflows, alongside a React Native ride-hailing companion app. The documented stack includes Next.js, payment integrations, real-time tracking and email automation.

Constraints addressed

Package categories and service coverage affect booking and pricing. Customer tracking and emailed proof of delivery connect the booking interface to operational progress. The scope required explicit delivery rules rather than a single generic checkout. No transaction-volume or performance benchmark is claimed here.

What I built

• Built a multi-tier booking system with pricing by package type (envelope, under 20 lbs, heavy up to 30 lbs)
• Integrated real-time tracking so customers can monitor deliveries live from dispatch to drop-off
• Implemented online payment processing for secure, cashless transactions
• Designed proof-of-delivery workflow with automated email receipts
• Built companion ride-hailing app (Dryva) alongside the courier platform

Outcome

Launched a fully operational courier service with web booking, real-time tracking, online payments, and a ride-hailing app — serving residential and SME customers across multiple Jamaican parishes.
